DIY Neon Shatter Nails...

This is my summer 'go to' nail look, I always get compliments where ever I go or people ask me where I got them done, and since the 'transfer' type nails came out some people think it's them.

It looks like you spent a lot of time on them when really it doesn't take long at all, a friend even thought I painted on the black freehandedly, when I explained it was a polish that 'shatters' / 'crackles' she was amazed.

You will need;
- 3 bright/neon nail colours
- glitter nail polish
- shatter nail polish
- top coat

Starting with this bright turquoise nail polish paint a horizontal stripe a third of the nail...

...taking a bright yellow nail polish paint another third of the nail...

...taking a bright neon pink paint the last third of the nail and let your nail dry before the next step...

...using any glitter nail polish with a clear base, paint the nail and wait for your nails to dry, here I have used Pirouette My Whistle by OPI...

...using a black shatter nail polish apply a one thick coat. Applying a thick coat will leave bigger chunks of black polish compared to a thin coat which will leave much smaller chunks of black polish. Once again let this dry before the final step...

...finish with a top coat of your choice.

I would love to know what your favourite summertime nail polishes are, leave me a comment down below and have a great day.

Summer Wish-list...

1. White Bleached Floral Skinny Jeans from New Look £19.99
I have been in a 'black skinny jeans' rut and really want a pair of printed jeans, as they have been bleached they give the jeans a more subtle look rather than a bam in your face print. They almost look kind of vintage, like old wallpaper.

2. ASOS PETITE T-shirt With lazer Cut Wings £18.00
This top will look great layered over a neon crop top. I love the wings cut out detail on the back it is really unique, I would love to try a DIY version of this.

3. Vila Lace Print Skinny Jean from ASOS £45.00
These lace printed jeans look amazing, I love the contrast between the blue jeans and the white lace print.

4. Black Thick Frame Bow Arm Sunglasses from New Look £4.99
These remind me of the Chanel sunglasses with the bow, very pretty and super cheap.

5. Bershka combined cork wedges £39.99
Love these wedges they are the perfect nude colour.

6. Karen Millen Floral Printed Cotton Dress with Skater Skirt from ASOS £140.00
This dress is way over my price range but the print is so nice and the square cut out detail at the back is amazing.

7. Very By Vero Moda Lace Insert Top from ASOS £50.00
The lace detail makes this top super girly and sophisticated, I just hope this ends up in the sale as it's just maybe a little too expensive.

8. A Wear Contrast Slouch Shoulder Bag from ASOS £22.00 (sale)
I have been using my current bag for a couple of years now and even though I still love it, I like the look of this bag especially the colour, it's kind of a dirty pink.

9. Love Dress In Lace and Floral Print from ASOS £45.00
I have seen a lot of dresses lately with cut out details on the side, which I love, but this dress has lace inserted in the cut out details, which is super cute.

10. Anabelle Cut Out Wedge With Origami Straps from Boohoo £25.00
When I first saw these wedges I fell in love with them, they are absolutely stunning...

I hope you enjoyed reading my summer wish list, now I need to go and find a magic lamp and give it a rub...

Let me know what you're after this summer!!!

Healthy Pancake Recipe...

I have been eating these pancakes for over a year now and they are sooo delicious, the recipe I used started with the Protein Pancakes from ToneItUp on YouTube, but I have changed it quite a bit...

Ingredients
- 3 Egg Whites
- 1 Ripe Mashed Banana
- 4 tbsp Oats or Ground Almonds
- 1 tbsp Protein Powder (optional)
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon

This is such a quick and easy breakfast to make, it's wheat free, dairy free, sugar free and can be gluten free when made with the ground almonds or by using gluten free oats.

Directions
Put all the ingredients into a bowl and mix really well...

...drizzle a small amount of cooking oil such as rapeseed or coconut, or cooking spray...

...on a medium to low heat spoon 2tbsp per pancake...

...cook for 30 seconds and flip them over for another 30 seconds.

This recipe makes 6 small pancakes (I measure 2 tbsp of batter when cooking them). These can be eaten on their own, or you can add some fresh fruit, some jam, or a drizzle of maple syrup, YUMMY.

April 'Recent Buys'

I don't like spending a lot of money on things that are gonna end up in the bin after, I find that these cotton pads are great and very cheap, I prefer them over the ones from 99p store and from Primark.

Sanctuary Daily Spa Escape Youth Boosting Body Moisture Serum - Boots £8.50
Haven't tried this yet, bought it as it doesn't contain parabens or any petrochemicals.

Naked Skin Up Tone Girl - Amazon £4.59
I bought this as it doesn't contain any parabens or alcohol, which I always avoid in a toner.

Sen Detox Detoxifying Body Cream Scrub - Cheap Smells £4.95
So glad I came across this brand as they use all natural ingredients and it's super affordable can't wait to try this out.

Another firming lotion but I go through them so quickly.

I bought it to keep in my hand bag and again it's paraben free and contains no petrochemicals.

I don't usually wear colour on my lips so this should be interesting.

This was a kinda weird purchase this month, as I don't eat pasta, noodles etc and don't really like it, I think because it only has 4 calories, contains no wheat, no sugar and no gluten, I thought I would try it out... I was thinking I would probably add it into a stir-fry to bulk it up without adding any extra calories.

Naturya Wheatgrass Powder - Amazon £7.99
I was thinking about growing and juicing my own wheatgrass as I have read so many benefits, but too be honest I don't have the time or patience, I think this is the next best thing to the real thing.
It's a fine green powder which can be added to a smoothie or taken as a shot mixed with water or a juice. I prefer taking it in a shot mixed with juice and this stuff is amazing, (not the taste but the benefits) so amazing that I will be posting a full detailed review of it soon.

There are sooo many protein powders on the market, most of them include a lot of artificial sweeteners which I really don't want to be drinking everyday, I bought this as it is just pure whey protein isolate so I know exactly what is going into my body.
