DIY Sugar Spun Rainbow Nails...

A little over a week ago I painted my nails like this and thought I would post a DIY on how I created it.

You will need...
- Base Coat (OPI Natural Nail Base Coat)
- White Nail Polish (Natural Collection White)
- Glitter Nail Polish (OPI Pirouette My Whistle)
- Purple Nail Polish (2true Glossywear Nail Polish Shade 12)
- Blue Nail Polish (SurePromise from Ebay)
- Green Nail Polish (SurePromise from Ebay)
- Yellow Nail Polish (BarryM 134 Yellow 820)
- Coral Nail Polish (Revlon 990 One Perfect Coral)
- Safety Pin or Needle or Pin

Paint your nails with a base coat followed by a white nail polish...

OPI - Natural Nail Base Coat
Natural Collection White

...apply one coat of a glitter nail polish...

...starting with a green nail polish apply a small amount on some paper...

...using a safety pin or something with a fine point, mix the polish around until it becomes stringy...

...place the nail you want to paint next to the polish, with the other hand dip the safety pin into the polish and over the nail, repeat this a few times...

...repeat to all the nails...

...repeat with a blue nail polish...

...repeat with a purple nail polish...

...repeat with a yellow nail polish...

...finally finish with a coral nail polish...

...clean around the cuticles with an eyeliner brush dipped in some nail varnish remover, using a cotton bud will leave fluff on your nails and doesn't work as good...

...if you are thinking about adding a top coat it will mix the colours together and ruin the 'sugar spun effect'...it still looks good though like a rainbow...
